Default PMA/ Accountants who deal with expats. (urgent)

Can anyone please tell me how much on average it costs to set up a PMA? Can anyone also recommend an accountant who specializes in dealing with expats?
    Thanks in advance. Aidan

My PMA cost me just under 50 million Rupiah, I heard from people that it is possible to pay less; just be careful, read the paper you sign thoroughly (better pay for a translation / i didn't) so that in the end after all is done you are actually ALLOWED to do what you want to do...don't use the first person because she/he has a nice smile, better ask what kind of experience they have (references)

You could try Mazars Accountants located on Jl Sunset. Google them.

Thanks a lot for that. Did you go through an agency? If so would you recommend the agency and how long did it take?

How long does it take? Difficult to say, I know a guy from Semarang who literally stayed for 3 days in the kantor in jakarta, just paid the fees & bribe money for each paper AFTER it was done (OFFICIALLY setting up a PMA in Indonesia costs nothing, but if you try this you'll wait 100 years cause they all refuse to sign ), he needed 3 days and 15 million Rupiah...if you go to a big lawyer company you can pay easily 80-100 million. There are no (!) digitalized listings of the (non) vacant PMA names, every time you choose a company name somebody in jakarta has to look in folders if this name is still available, only can hope that this guy is in a good mood and not ill...

    Cool

For a PMA you would look at around 30jt & 6 months to set up.
There are some members on the forum that are agents.
You can search Okusi & Associates for info.
