Default A Perfect Pet For the Balinese Home

Desiring to rid myself of any misconceived reputation of being an animal hater, I would like to present the latest critter to take up permanent residence in our household and gardens.

Now, this is my idea of a great pet! Very friendly, never barking or biting, our wild Balinese Iguana is most honored in our house. Keeping our environment bug free, and amusing us with his running antics, ability to change colors, and love of having his picture taken, we are soliciting names. Any entries greatly appreciated!

These pics were taken shortly after he had jumped from a tree right onto the central area floor in our house. Note how he immediately starts to change colors starting at the back of his head. Neat trick eh? No “Rover” I ever knew could do that! :P

I agree Bert. After reading today the latest, I thought of Mark as a good name for Pak or maybe Ibu? Iguana...but I ruled it out. I don't want to insult this fine creature! :P

Then there is the gender question. Where to look to determine the sex?

My friends (!) at Google (I hope they read this) gave me a nice site for that...

    But beware !!

Sooner or later every iguana owner wants to know what gender their little green baby belongs to. The confusion either clears up or they find they are the owner of Androgynous Iguana!

Bert's right "sparky" Mark. The Mark we both have in mind is....is....is....(Bert holding his breath in anticipation)...a "special" case.

Anyway, Eri likes Bert suggestion a lot. It's time we had a high caste around here anyway, so I Gusti Uana will be it. Of course on his business cards it will be simply I. G. Uana. Thanks Om Bert!
