that on a Bali Expat site no mention has been amde of the expat murdered here earlier this month, not even on the news board.
Well, I guess I haven't brought it up either. I have been busy watching developments elsewhere.
Happy to say one man at least has been arrested but for the latest news follow the link

Why is it strange that it hasn’t been mentioned here Mimpi? It’s been well covered in The Bali Times, The Bali Post, and Jack’s latest newsletter from yesterday also covers it well:

My sources tell me that there are still far more questions than answers involving this case. As Jack hints at in his article, does 37 stab wounds sound to you like a robbery gone wrong?
Hopefully all the conjecture and story telling that went on during the Corby case, including cries from Australia that she was innocent, have left behind a good lesson...and that would be, let’s wait until the investigation is complete.
Well Roy, I for one dont read the bali Times the bali post or jack's newsletter.
A lot of other stuff is also done to death not only elsewhere but here but still gets talked about........and that includes non Bali related discussions.
As I said I just thought it strange. I just feel sad for a woman to be killed like that here of all places. I for one always felt so safe I never used to lock my door at night, staying alone in Nusa Dua, because my Pembantu used to arrive early. I even went back to Lombok and forgot to lock it one time.
And I was thinking more of in sympathy for the loss of a young life... rather than conjecture about what happened.

it certainly is a tragic event.. i just hope the perpetrator, after caught and imprisoned doesn't get ripped off by those bloody bali prison guards when he calls his brother from the prison phone :P
