In a discussion several months ago I made the statement that if the mothership was to land in any village in Bali and offer to take all the inhabitants off the the golden shores (sarcasm warning) of American then the other deity in the discussion (Roy) would be left on his lonesome there.

Well, it hurts to admit it but I was wrong. After lengthy discussions with a number of Balinese on the subject it does now seem that I, on this occasion only, was full of sh*t.

Funnily enough I am quite glad to be wrong on this and frankly it only endears the place more to me. :oops:
